This Department works in accordance with the National Health Policy and Development, considers the urgent needs of professionals working in the field of optometry in our society, actively fosters the theory and practice of optometry professionals and practitioners in the industry, in order to improve the quality of vision care in the public. This Department's course curriculum planning is mainly to strengthen students' professional ability in the theory and practice of optometry., to prepare students with the abilities for optometric refraction and ophthalmic lens dispensing, refractive correction, as well as optometric expertise, in order to assist students in successfully making the transition into the job market.
